Every year the emma conference brings together media management, media economics and communication scholars to discuss the challenges facing media organisations and their leaders. Each event takes place in a different European city and draws together scholars from across the globe.

The conference highlights the wide range of interests within the emma community. In addition to its plenary forums, emma 2010, held in London, featured three parallel streams, reflecting the large number and high quality of papers submitted.

emma 2011 will take place in Moscow in June 2011 and will be hosted by Moscow State University’s School of Journalism. The call for papers is already closed and we are now reviewing the contributions. Registration and Travel information will be available soon.
