11 May #emmatalk

On May 11th at 5 pm CEST we are happy to invite you to join our #emmaTalk “Digital Business Ecosystems in Media and Journalism”.

Platforms and business ecosystems have become the preferred operating mode in the digital economy, replacing vertical hierarchies and linear value chains with a distributed and collaborative organizational model. Digital technologies allow for connectedness and data exchange beyond corporate boundaries, transforming the structure of business operations. In analogy to biological ecosystems the term business ecosystem conveys that the actors in the business ecosystem are interdependent as they cooperate to achieve common objectives while competing for scarce resources. Thus #emmaTalk explores Digital Business Ecosystem in Media and Journalism from organizational, technological and market perspectives.
