Speakers: 

Eylem Yanardağoğlu is a professor at Yaşar University in the New Media and Communication Department in Izmir, Turkey. Dr. Yanardağoğlu is also a research fellow at the ELIAMEP, Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy in Athens. Her research interests include digital citizenship, digital journalism, digital platforms, international communication and transational expansion of Turkish TV series. She is a member of ESA (European Sociological Association) and IAMCR (International Association for Media and Communication Research). 

Marius Dragomir is the director of the Media and Journalism Research Center, an international think tank focused on studying media, journalism, politics and technology. He is also a professor at Central European University (CEU) in Vienna where he teaches journalism and research design courses and practical classes on advocacy and policy engagement. Dragomir is also a researcher at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

Dragomir has spent the past 30 years in the media research field, specializing in media and communication regulation, digital media, governing structures of public service media and broadcasting, journalism business models and ownership regulation.

Anna Jupowicz-Ginalska is Associate Professor at the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies). She specializes in media marketing and new technologies. She is a member of the Editorial Board in the Journal of Media Business Studies, Reviewers Board in Future Internet and Sustainability, Scientific Boards of Journalism and Media, Styles of Communication and Revista Multidisciplinar. Leader of the long-lasting project “FOMO. Poles and Fear of Missing Out”, the first representative study on FOMO in Poland. Member of the research project “Diversity Management as Innovation in journalism” (POLS). Promotion practitioner skilled in media companies, PR agencies, local government and the educational sector.
