In a year where the BBC celebrates its 100th anniversary, its future as a Public Service Media (PSM) outlet may have run its course. With the license fee frozen for the next 2 years and potentially canceled from 2027, the plight of the BBC is indicative of many PSM providers in Europe and wider afield.
