Hanna Jemmer is a junior research fellow at Tallinn University. She’s part of several research projects like the Cultural Data Analytics Lab, Public Value of Open Data and Mapping Media for Future Democracies. She mainly studies media economics, media innovation and media management but also media policy and regulations, platformisation. Her PhD thesis project focuses on how media organisations use data for innovation purposes. She has an MSc degree from University of Amsterdam in New Media & Digital Culture, an MA degree from University of Bristol in European Studies. She has worked on EU economic policies at the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and in the Chancellery of the Estonian Parliament.
