emma Summer School Grant 2023

Participating in the emma Summer School in Lappeenranta was an immensely enriching experience for me, both academically and personally. The warm and intellectually stimulating atmosphere at the summer school created a safe space to learn: It was both supportive and challenging on an academic level, pushing me to advance the research projects for my dissertation The detailed and insightful feedback I received from my peers and mentors was invaluable. It provided me with fresh perspectives and ideas that will shape the trajectory of my research.

Moreover, the event was brilliantly organized – from the seamless scheduling of workshops to the incredible leisure activities. The summer school has not only furthered my research but also enriched my network and personal growth. I would like to thank emma for awarding me the grant that made this enriching experience possible.
